It would be good, but how would it work with Rice and Soucek already in the midfield

Would be a nice signing and would give the option to drop Rice to CB which could ultimately be his best position

The 25-year-old Frenchman has spent the duration of the last two seasons on loan away from Stamford Bridge – with AC Milan last term and AS Monaco this season (per Transfermarkt), and Irons fans were keen on him making a third-consecutive loan switch.

However, with Chelsea touted to be keen on signing Declan Rice from the Hammers (per Sky Sports), some fans felt that the loan may pave the way for the Englishman’s departure.

Could a Tiemoue Bakayoko loan switch pave the way for Declan Rice's departure?Yes, could be the caseNo, he's going to stay |
After Bakayoko has picked up a 7.05/10 over 20 Ligue 1 appearances this season (per WhoScored), though, most fans remained keen on the touted loan switch.
Would be a very astute signing, on a loan means 0 risk. Undoubtably has quality shown at Monaco. Gives us the legs in midfield we’ve lacked since Kouyate went and would work perfectly with a Tomás Soucek next to him

Would be fantastic business for us, give us the kind of strength in depth, physicality & ability on the ball we’ve lacked for years with Rice & Soucek as options as well!

As can be seen in the responses from West Ham supporters, while some have their doubts about the move, the majority are keen for it to happen.
