Supporters of West Ham United have been reacting to a report regarding the club’s stance on the Premier League’s neutral grounds idea.
According to Claret and Hugh, the Hamers will ‘not be budging’ from their ‘no neutral grounds’ stance ‘unless relegation is removed’ by the Premier League (via @WHUFCFZ), which had lots of fans talking.
West Ham will not be budging from their ‘no neutral grounds’ stance unless relegation is removed when chairmen vote on Monday.
The PL, allegedly backed by the big clubs, are seemingly trying to pile pressure on the bottom six to accept the proposal.

No fans so No neutral grounds is meaningless. Are SGB scared? I think they’re trying to get their excuses in early.

Let’s face it, our home ground gives us no advantage whatsoever ! It’s so obvious that they are just trying to take relegation out of the equation.

Are you for or against the Premier League resuming play at neutral venues? For, would be a good ideaAgainst, it's a bad idea |
The report goes on to state that England’s top flight is backed by the league’s ‘big clubs’ and they are ‘seemingly trying to pile pressure on the bottom six’ sides.
However, after the report was shared to social media (via @WHUFCFZ), supporters continued airing their opinions on the matter.
If relegation option removed what’s the point of playing the games?

Can’t see fans at games next season either but they absolutely shouldn’t accept neutral grounds. We still have Villa and Burnley at home and as a minimum it’s a longer coach journey for them

I don’t mind restarting the season but when it’s safe and fans can be there in the stands. Not before. I’m not gonna be watching games live in empty neutral stadiums on Sky for the moneymakers to keep me away from my seat in the stadium. #FansBeforeMoney

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from West Ham supporters, there is a mixture of opinions as some back the club’s stance and others do not.
However, with the bottom six in the Premier League seemingly at odds with other clubs over how the season should be concluded (via Claret and Hugh), it seems that there will be unhappy parties with whatever the decision will be.
