West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has told the supporters he still has “unfinished business” at the club (via the Mirror). The former Arsenal player joined the Hammers in July 2018 but to date, the 28-year-old has made just 16 appearances in the claret and blue, largely due to injury.
However, Wilshere, who has 34 England caps to his name, is determined to prove himself to David Moyes and has stressed he doesn’t want the West Ham fans to think his signing was a “waste of time“.
How have some of the club’s supporters responded to his comments?
This broken clown repeats the same record every year. Get him in the bin

He was not only a waste of time as most fans thought at the time but a waste of space

I like Jack as a fella but he says the exact same thing every season to no avail

It’s horrible to say but I don’t think he can get back to anywhere near the level of a Premier League player. As said before, we need the CM spot filled with a talented player, especially with Noble on his last legs

Does Jack Wilshere have a future at West Ham United?
No
Yes
Pay per play deal only , if he thinks so much of us he will go for that won’t he ?

Yeah ok. It’s still a bye from me…

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, it is clear there are not many West Ham fans who are hopeful Wilshere can return to his best. Injuries have been a problem for the player throughout his career (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) and therefore you can understand his and the supporters’ frustrations.
