Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some footage of Harry Winks from the game against Aston Villa earlier in the season.
Spurs fan Seth shared the footage of the England international making a strong tackle before beating his man, which was taken from Spurs’ first Premier League game of the season – a 3-1 win against Aston Villa. He suggests that the footage is a reminder of ‘what a confident Winks can do’.
The footage has subsequently attracted the attention of plenty of Spurs fans on Twitter, many of whom were quick to have their say on the 24-year-old midfielder.
Is Winks good enough to be a regular starter for Spurs?

I love those kinds of tackles. Remember that tackle on Messi from behind when he stole the ball and then carried it with him?

Other Spurs fans were less complimentary about the Englishman, however.

Is that it? Was that the highlight real of his career?! average at best and an upgrade is desperately needed.

Overall, it seems as if the footage hasn’t done much to convince a lot of Spurs fans that Winks is good enough to be a regular starter.
What do we think?
So far this season, Winks has averaged a disappointing 6.52 rating across his 23 appearances in the top flight, so the £28.8 million-rated man may have to improve if he wants to secure a regular spot in Mourinho’s first-team.
