Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some TalkSPORT footage of Simon Jordan discussing Dele Alli’s mugging last week.
The Spurs Web shared some quotes and footage of Simon Jordan and Jim White discussing the former MK Dons man, after it was originally shared by talkSPORT, and it has attracted the attention of plenty of Lilywhites supporters on Twitter. The 24-year-old midfielder was held at knifepoint last week, with some media outlets seemingly focussing on the value of his home and stolen watch, rather than the fact he was the victim of a crime.
Jordan discusses the issue with White, saying (per The Spurs Web): “Somehow Dele & his lifestyle are complicit in his downfall. It’s wrong! Dele has a £150k watch? So what! He’s been held at knifepoint! It is horrible, nasty gutter reporting and I loathe it!”
Do you agree that Alli was unfairly treated by the media?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to Jordan’s quotes on Alli can be seen in the tweets below.
Agree completely! Sadly he is arguing with someone who is part of the problem in Jim White! He doesn’t care as he and sky sports news are sensationalists and care for headlines only!

100% agree with Simon. How Jim White can even try to argue anything else is disgusting.

These Spurs fans clearly agree with Simon Jordan on this matter.
What do we think?
We agree that Alli was unfairly targeted by some sections of the media, as considering that he was held at knifepoint in what will have undoubtedly been a scary experience for him, his wealth shouldn’t really matter.
