Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post from Reds defender Virgil van Dijk.
This comes after the Dutchman shared a post on his official Twitter page replying to a post from the official Liverpool Twitter account on Georginio Wijnaldum’s goal celebration.
Van Dijk replied to this post from the Merseyside club with a GIF of himself and Wijnaldum doing the celebration together whilst on international duty for the Netherlands.
This post from Van Dijk then quickly gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.

The defender signed for the Merseyside club back in January 2018 and has since gone on to win the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup with the Reds (per Transfermarkt). Now that the Dutch defender has shared this reply to the club’s post on Wijnaldum and his goal celebration, this gathered a big reaction from lots of Reds fans.

It’s great to see Van Dijk getting involved and interacting with the club’s Twitter post and having a bit of fun with his teammate Wijnaldum. The response to Van Dijk’s post from these Liverpool fans just shows how much they adore the centre-half.
