Spurs fans have flocked to the club’s post showing Tanguy Ndombele’s debut goal against Aston Villa from earlier in the season.
The club shared footage of the 23-year-old’s strike from Spurs’ opening game of the season, with the Frenchman making it 1-1 before a late double from Harry Kane earned the Lilywhites a 3-1 win (per BBC).
Spurs signed the young midfielder from Lyon in a club-record deal last summer and although his debut clearly went well, the rest of the season has been quite disappointing, with regular fitness issues proving a problem for the French international. His performances in the Premier League have seen him average a 6.76 rating, with the 23-year-old only managing to complete 90 minutes in the top-flight on three occasions so far in a Spurs shirt.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of Ndombele, with many hoping to see him stay this summer, despite the reported interest from Barcelona.
What do we think?
It was a great debut goal from Ndombele and hopefully, for Spurs fans he will be able to more regularly create those sorts of moments when the Premier League resumes from its current suspension.
