Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an image of Dele Alli in training at Hotspur Way.
After the North London club were asked by a fan to share some pictures of the former MK Dons man in training, they duly delivered, with the image subsequently attracting the attention of plenty of Lilywhites supporters on Twitter. Premier League clubs have this week returned to contact training, ahead of the resumption of top-flight football in June and it looks as if Alli is happy to be back.
So far this season, the 24-year-old midfielder has averaged a solid 6.96 rating for his performances in the Premier League; having contributed eight goals and four assists in 22 appearances in the top-flight (per Whoscored). Although he has not been able to match his form from previous seasons with the North London club thus far, the England international will perhaps be confident of improving on that average rating when the season does resume, especially now that Jose Mourinho has a fully fit squad available to him.
Are you a fan of Alli's beard?
Yes
No
During Spurs’ injury crisis shortly before the Premier League suspension, Alli featured as a striker on a number of occasions, but will surely now be allowed to return to his preferred attacking midfield role.
Reaction from Spurs fans to the image of Alli in training can be seen in the tweets below.

One fan even commented that the beard makes him look like Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

It seems that a lot of these Spurs supporters are not big fans of Alli’s new look, although if it allows him to play in the same way in which Sancho has this season, then we’re sure they will come to love it.
