Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on Lille sporting director Luis Campos which suggests that the 55-year-old is close to joining the North London club.
According to Portuguese outlet RTP Noticias (via Daily Hotspur), the former Monaco director is edging closer to a move to the Lilywhites. It was first suggested by Canal Plus that he would be linking up with Jose Mourinho at the North London club and now RTP Noticias suggest that ‘Luís Campos is about to leave the French club to head to Tottenham and work with José Mourinho’.
The director has an excellent reputation for discovering young talent, helping to unearth gems such as Bernardo Silva, Kylian Mbappe, and Fabinho during his time at Monaco (per Sky Sports).
