Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the news that the Premier League have voted to return to small group training this week.
The club confirmed on Twitter that shareholders unanimously voted that clubs would be able to take part in small group training sessions from this week onwards, which marks a big step in top-flight football potentially resuming from its current suspension. The season was suspended back in March due to the current viral outbreak but this looks to be a major step in getting top-flight football back in England by June, as per the Project Restart plan.
The North London club shared a statement from the Premier League, which said (per Tottenham Hotspur):
“This first stage has been agreed in consultation with players, managers, Premier League club doctors, independent experts, and the Government. Strict medical protocols of the highest standard will ensure everyone returns to training in the safest environment possible.”
Are you glad that top-flight football looks to be returning in England?

The season potentially returning has clearly split these Spurs fans.
What do we think?
Although football won’t be the same behind closed doors, it is still better than no football and hopefully this marks a positive step towards the season being finished in a safe environment.
