Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on the summer transfer window.
According to The Telegraph (via Daily Hotspur), the North London club are preparing for a summer transfer window in which they will have no money to spend. The report suggests that the Lilywhites will be reliant on loan signings, swap deals and free transfers, with any funds having to be raised through player sales.
Despite Spurs recently being named as the eighth-richest team in the Deloitte Football Money League, it seems as if the current viral outbreak has had a devastating impact on any potential summer plans.

If the season is completed and therefore all tv money is received then there is no reason for this to be the case! I thought we were a ‘well run’ club??

These Spurs fans clearly aren’t too happy with the reported plans for the upcoming transfer window.
What do we think?
It is perhaps understandable considering the current situation that Spurs don’t want to spend big this summer and perhaps if they can offload a few players, then Mourinho will have some funds available to improve his squad.
