Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing the latest reports on Tanguy Ndombele, which suggest that Jose Mourinho is still determined to get the best out of him, though the Frenchman is reportedly unsettled after a tough first season so far.
Sky Sports (via Daily Hotspur), suggested that Spurs are likely to keep hold of the Frenchman this summer and that despite facing some criticism, most notably after the draw with Burnley in March, the former Lyon man does not have an issue with Mourinho. However, a debut season in the Premier League which has been plagued by injury and fitness issues have left the 23-year-old unsettled.
Hopefully, for Spurs fans, the French international will be able to show some of the form he produced in the Champions League (where he averaged a 7.34 rating) more regularly in the Premier League next season.
Do you think we will see the best of Ndombele next season?

The best thing that could happen in this situation would be Son having a talk with Tanguy. He was in the exact same position, and has turned himself into one of the most beloved players in the team. Ndombele could maybe do the same.

Some of these Spurs fans clearly feel that Ndombele will need to improve his attitude if he is to make it in the Premier League, whilst a couple of fans compared his situation to that of Heung-Min Son’s, as the South Korean struggled in his first year in the Premier League, averaging a 6.53 rating in the top flight back in 2015/16.
What do we think?
The report from Sky Sports suggests that Mourinho is determined to get the best out of Ndombele, so it would be a surprise to see him moved on any time soon and perhaps the £46.8 million-rated man will really start to impress next season.
