Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest transfer rumour which links the North London club with a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
According to Calcio Mercato, as per Sports Mole, Spurs have joined the hunt to sign the Serbian international this summer. So far this season, the 25-year-old has impressed in his performances in Serie A, having contributed four goals and four assists across 25 appearances, averaging a superb 7.33 rating (per WhoScored).
However, with the midfielder currently valued at £57.6 million by Transfermarkt, it is perhaps difficult to see the North London club making a move for him this summer, especially considering the potential financial impact of the current viral outbreak.

Overall, it seems that if Spurs have the funds to sign Milinkovic-Savic this summer, a lot of fans would be very happy to see him join.
What do we think?
Whilst Milinkovic-Savic’s performances this season suggest he would be a top-quality addition to Mourinho’s side, it just seems unlikely that Spurs would pay the fee required, especially considering it was reported earlier this month that the North London club will be limited to free transfers and swap deals this summer.
