Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to an old team-sheet from the days of Andre Villas-Boas as manager.
The Spurs Web shared the team-sheet on Twitter, which featured the likes of Jan Vertonghen in midfield alongside Scott Parker, with Mousa Dembele, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Gareth Bale playing as an attacking trio behind Emmanuel Adebayor. The Portuguese manager took charge of 80 games during his time as Spurs boss; winning 45, drawing 18 and losing 17 (per Transfermarkt)
Eventually, though, the young manager was sacked in December 2013. Still, now that one of his team selections has re-emerged on Twitter, it has given fans the chance to reminisce about the former manager and some of the players who were at the club.
Was Villas-Boas clueless during his time as Spurs boss?

These Spurs fans clearly weren’t too impressed with the old team selection, with plenty suggesting that Villas-Boas didn’t have the best of times as manager of the Lilywhites.
What do we think?
Other than Vertonghen in midfield and Dembele on the wing, this doesn’t look to be the worst lineup from Spurs, however, it clearly didn’t work, as the North London club sunk to a 1-0 defeat against Fulham.
