Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing the latest report on Serge Aurier, which suggests that the North London club are set to hand the defender a hefty fine.
According to The Sun (via The Spurs Web), the former PSG man is set to be handed a £140,000 fine by the club after he appeared to break lockdown rules for the third time. The 27-year-old shared a picture of himself getting a haircut earlier this week, which is clearly against the social distancing rules that have been put in place by the government.
The Ivory Coast international has already found himself in trouble during this lockdown period, with Aurier previously having to apologise after he was seen participating in a training session with Moussa Sissoko.
What do you think of the reported fine?
Too much
Not enough
Reaction from Spurs fans to the latest report on Aurier can be seen in the tweets below.

These Spurs fans are clearly not happy with Aurier’s actions, with many suggesting that the club should simply part ways with the Ivorian.
What do we think?
It may be a little hasty to simply release Aurier considering he has been Spurs’ third-best performer in the Premier League this season (per WhoScored), but it certainly seems as if the right-back will face punishment for his actions.
