Fans of Tottenham have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Rafael van der Vaart shares footage from his time with the club.
The footage contains several of the midfielder’s goals during his time with Spurs, with the 37-year-old commenting: “So many special memories of playing in this amazing stadium in front of the Spurs fans!“
In reaction to his post, fans of Spurs have flocked to have their say, with many suggesting that the former Dutch international left the club too early, while others have claimed that watching Van der Vaart play in a Tottenham shirt was a pleasure.

What do we think?
Over 77 appearances in his time with Tottenham, Van der Vaart scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists – an impressive return for an attacking midfielder.
However, it would appear that many of the Spurs fans feel that he left the club too soon, being sold to Hamburger SV in 2012 for £11.7 million, just two years after his arrival from Real Madrid.
