Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the Lilywhites have officially bid for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.
According to Turkish news outlet A Spor (via The Spurs Web), the North London club have bid £4.5 million for the Kosovan ahead of a potential summer move. However, with the 26-year-old striker currently valued at £8.55 million by Transfermarkt, it seems unlikely that this bid will be accepted.
So far this season, the Kosovo international has impressed in his performances in the Turkish top-flight; averaging a superb 7.46 rating, having contributed 13 goals and four assists in 25 appearances (per Whoscored).
Do you think Spurs will sign Muriqi this summer?

Not sure about the source but this sounds exactly like Levy, the bloke is an embarrassment.

If true, what a joke of a bid, maybe for loan fee at that price.

These Spurs fans don’t seem too shocked that the club have reportedly bid well below Muriqi’s value.
What do we think?
Although the current viral outbreak will, of course, have a significant impact on the financial side of football, £4.5 million for a player who has had the sort of season Muriqi has seems like a derisory offer.
