Spurs fans have been discussing the latest report on Kyle Walker-Peters after it was suggested that he is keen to finish the season with Southampton.
According to Sky Sports (via The Spurs Web), the right-back wants to stay on loan with the Saints until the end of the season, with Spurs also willing to listen to permanent offers for the 23-year-old this summer. The academy graduate joined Southampton on loan in the January transfer window but has made just one appearance in the Premier League so far for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
During his time with the Lilywhites, the young defender has made just 24 appearances for the North London club and recently spoke out against Jose Mourinho following his loan move, so it would perhaps not be a surprise to see him sold ahead of next season.
Will you be disappointed if Walker-Peters leaves permanently?

Other Spurs fans urged the club to use him as part of a swap deal for Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who the club have been linked with in recent weeks.

These Spurs fans are clearly in agreement that Walker-Peters doesn’t have a future with the club and want to see him leave this summer.
What do we think?
It is looking more and more likely that Walker-Peters will leave on a permanent deal this summer, and based on their replies to the tweet, a lot of Spurs fans won’t be too disappointed to see him go.
