Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing summer signing Jack Clarke and his future with the North London club.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino signed the youngster from Leeds last summer before immediately loaning him back to the Championship side. However, after making just one substitute appearance in the second tier for Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion hopefuls, he returned to the North London club before joining QPR in January, where he has endured a similarly disappointing amount of game time, having made just four substitute appearances in the Championship, averaging a 6.14 rating (per WhoScored).
The 19-year-old’s apparent failure to make an impression at two separate Championship sides this season arguably doesn’t bode well for his future with the Lilywhites, and now that The Spurs Web has shared some footage of the former Leeds man on Twitter, (after it was originally shared by Scouting Football), it has given Spurs fans a chance to have their say on the winger.
What would you do with Clarke next season?
Play him
Loan him
Sell him
A sample of tweets from Spurs fans discussing Clarke can be seen below.
Don’t think you’ll ever see Jack Clarke in a Spurs shirt starting 11 in the premier lge, awful buy, the kids just not up to it. Leeds couldn’t believe their luck the money we gave for him.

These Spurs fans clearly don’t seem to believe in Clarke, with many suggesting that he should be sold this summer.
What do we think?
It is perhaps premature to judge Clarke considering he is yet to make an appearance for Spurs and is just 19 years old, so perhaps a more successful loan spell next season will give himself a chance to impress fans.
