A group of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to a recent Twitter post from the club featuring Argentinian midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. The post contains an image of the 24-year-old sitting on the training ground whilst giving the camera a thumbs-up.
Lo Celso arrived at Spurs in August, initially on loan before the North London outfit announced in January that they would be signing the player on a permanent basis (as per BBC Sport). A fully-fledged Argentina international, he’s made 28 appearances for the club in total, scoring two goals and providing one assist so far. His two goals have come in the Champions League and the FA Cup – with the midfielder yet to get off the mark in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Here is how a sample of the Tottenham faithful have responded to the post.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that despite not having been at Spurs for that long, Lo Celso is a fairly popular figure. His average performance rating in the Premier League currently stands at 6.48/10 according to WhoScored.com, which is somewhat underwhelming, however, he has shown much stronger form in the UEFA Champions League, as evidenced by an improved 7.31/10 rating.
