It was announced recently that contact training between players can now recommence, as top-flight football in England edges closer to a return. Unsurprisingly, however, a lot of fans were focused on the proposed takeover of the club.

Announce takeover.

The proposed takeover of Newcastle United would see Mike Ashley’s 13-year spell as chairman at the Toon come to an end, and it would also reportedly make the Magpies the richest team in the Premier League.
Announce Ashley has gone for good!!

It seems as if the takeover is still the primary concern for a lot of Newcastle fans at this moment in time.

Yes
No
Some fans of the North East club will no doubt be disappointed if Mike Ashley is still in charge by the time football resumes next month, although with it having been suggested that the takeover has now been given a green-light by the Premier League, perhaps an official announcement is close.
