A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from NUFC 360, which has relayed quotes made in the Daily Mail regarding Mike Ashley.
They claim that Ashley is growing frustrated with this proposed takeover, and he had expected it to be done at least two weeks ago.
This has attracted the attention of these Toon fans, who have no sympathy for Ashley.
Do you have any sympathy for Ashley?
No, now he knows what it is like
Yes, I want the takeover confirmed as well

Now he knows how the fans have felt for the last 10 years…

Well thankfully it’s out of his hands and there is nothing he can do about it.

A bit like us in the transfer windows for the last 13 years then.

How does he think us fans feel. We want him gone

Lol. Whilst I’d love the takeover to be done now, I am pleased that he’s annoyed.

The one good thing about the delay in the approval – knowing that its depriving Cashley of £300m and there is nothing he can do about it. He’ll be fuming.

Let him squirm he can’t pull out anyway.

Our hearts bleed for him!

What do we think?
Ashley might very well be getting frustrated, but the deal is now out of his hands after he exchanged paperwork and accepted a deposit.
So even though some fans are worried that he might change his mind, the whole deal rests with the Premier League, and numerous challenges have delayed the process in reviewing the proposed takeover led by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium.
The likes of BeIN Sports and Amnesty International have made complaints to the Premier League about this takeover.
Some new evidence was submitted to the league in recent days that might delay the process even more – so if Ashley is frustrated, he will have to deal with it as there is nothing he can do.
