A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from Mark Douglas that includes a link to an exclusive interview with Demba Ba.
The former Toon striker talks at length about his time at St. James’ Park and how much he still loves the club.
Judging by many of the replies, the article has gone down very well, and many Toon fans are praising both Douglas and Ba.
Was Ba Newcastle's best striker since Shearer?
Yes, he was quality
No, he was good but others have been better
'I am telling you things I've never said before'.
Exclusive interview with @dembabafoot on life, a season in the sun at #nufc and, for the first time, what really went on with his exit.
An interview I've been chasing for ages and he didn't disappoint.https://t.co/4clp6C13oW

Brilliant read Mark. Best striker since Shearer, a captain without being captain too. People talk about him and Cisse being good mates but I always felt there was an underlying issue with them.

Great read, Mark. Cheers for that. Will always love @dembabafoot

Top guy, top player – just a shame we never tied him down for longer and offered that ambition he and other players like Cabaye craved!

What do we think?
This is a superb read, and Ba really opens up about his time on Tyneside and his exit.
The former Chelsea man arrived at Newcastle in the summer of 2011 and scored 16 goals in the league as the Toon finished in fifth in the 2011/12 season.
The following year Ba added another 13 before Chelsea activated his release clause.
In total, Ba made 58 appearances for Newcastle and scored 29 goals and judging by this interview, he still loves the Toon.
