To kick things off, who is this man from the 2009/10 season?

Wraith, who is a boxing promoter and Newcastle fan, has remained confident that the Toon will be taken over – a quick look through his timeline will reveal his confidence.

This also seems to be mirrored by these Toon fans who remain positive about the ongoing takeover situation.

One fan claimed that he had his cans at the ready presumably in anticipation of an announcement on the takeover.

The deal for Mike Ashley to sell Newcastle to Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium has been with the Premier League going through the required checks after a deposit was paid to Ashley.

A report in The Sun claimed that the deal would be formally announced on the 1st of June, stating that the Premier League had approved the takeover.

However, concerns emerged earlier in the week that the Saudi government have direct links to the piracy station BeoutQ and the league’s decision would be further delayed.

It certainly seems that this delay has worried these Toon fans who are growing concerned with this whole process.

One supporter claimed that he was losing faith, while another said that the whole thing was getting ridiculous.

It remains to be seen what the Premier League decide to do about the Toon’s proposed takeover, but the buying side hopes that now Project Restart is sorted the league can make a decision on their bid to buy Newcastle.

Wraith has remained extremely positive with this whole takeover, and it has led one Toon fan to praise him for this confidence.

The deal has been with the Premier League for a while now, and this whole saga should hopefully come to a conclusion soon.

If the Premier League approve the deal, then Wraith was right to be so positive about everything, but if not, he could look a bit daft.
