Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays comments made by Velez Sarsfield attacking midfielder, Thiago Almada.
Speaking to TNT Sports (via Sport Witness), the 19-year-old stated: “I really like Manchester City. I watched Carlos [Tevez] when he played on Saturday mornings. I play PlayStation with Manchester City. I’ve always liked them.”
In reaction to his comments, which were relayed by City Chief on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that Almada is welcome at City should he want to join the club, while others have claimed that the attacking midfielder would be a perfect replacement for the potentially outgoing Leroy Sane.

What do we think?
Despite being just 19 years old, Almada has impressed in the Superliga so far this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist over his 22 appearances in the league.
The Argentinian has also displayed great positional versatility throughout the season, playing on the left wing, right wing, in attacking midfield, central midfield and as a centre-forward. In fact, all four of his goals in the league this season have been from a different starting position on the pitch, according to Transfermarkt.
As such, it is no wonder why many of the City fans would welcome the £16.2 million-rated Almada at City.
