Timo Werner’s agent has received contact from Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea, according to Bild’s head of football Christian Falk on Twitter. The German striker, however, has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield and continues to wait for an offer from the Merseyside giants.
The 24-year-old has impressed this season for RB Leipzig, scoring 21 goals and providing seven assists in just 25 Bundesliga appearances (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) – so it is therefore no wonder there appears to be a number of Premier League clubs interested in securing his services.
Here is what some of the Anfield faithful have had to say in response to this latest update.
I think we’re contemplating if we go for Mbappe in 1 year or Werner now. We just need a guarantee from Mbappe side.

We will lose him, We not have money thats it.

I don’t blame the club for delaying. Fact is, they have no idea how much money their going to lose because of the virus, and how much they’re going to have for next year.

Will Werner end up joining one of Liverpool's Premier League rivals?
Yes

I feel like the longer we hold off the more impatient he’s going to become and eventually wanting something else 🙁

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, there appears to be a common concern amongst the Liverpool fans. There is a fear that Werner will grow tired of waiting and opt to join the likes of Manchester United or Chelsea instead, despite Merseyside reportedly being his first-choice destination.
