Do Liverpool have the best young academy in England?
Yes
No
On the official Liverpool club website, they revealed that Lewtas, “who joined the Reds in 2013, will take over following the departure of Neil Critchley in March”.
Critchley left the club after he had taken charge of Liverpool’s Carabao Cup defeat to Aston Villa when Jurgen Klopp and the Reds first-team were unavailable back in December (per BBC Sport).
Critchley was later named as the new manager of League One side Blackpool after leaving the Merseyside club.

Now that this news has been shared on Twitter, this quickly gathered a lot of attention from Liverpool fans who were not shy in sharing their congratulatory messages of support to the pair of newly appointed coaches.
Good luck Marc.

It’s great to see so many Liverpool fans showing their support to this latest bit of club news.
These latest appoints for the club’s youth teams just goes to show how important the club values it’s younger players and their development in the future.
The hope for these Liverpool fans now would be that the duo can get the best out of the young players in their respective age group squads so that they can produce some new stars for the future.
