Critchley left the club after he had taken charge of Liverpool’s Carabao Cup defeat to Aston Villa when Jurgen Klopp and the Reds first-team were unavailable back in December (per BBC Sport).

Critchley was later named as the new manager of League One side Blackpool after leaving the Merseyside club.

Liverpool’s website also added in their article that Bridge-Wilkinson had been appointed as the new U18’s coach. Bridge-Wilkinson “joined the Reds in 2015 from Huddersfield Town as an U14 coach and has been coaching at U16 level for the past two seasons.”
