Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reacting to recently posted footage of Reds midfielder Fabinho.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @TheAnfieldWrap shared a post on their page that contained video footage, which was originally posted by @lfcvids, of Fabinho’s tackle on Luis Suarez during the Reds’ 4-0 victory over Barcelona last season.
The page captioned Fabinho’s challenge on Suarez as “the best tackle you’ve ever seen.”
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their reactions to seeing this footage once again.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:
Remember Fabinho hit Suarez with the best tackle you've ever seen ?
Mad how it was given as a foul. Sets the tone thoughhttps://t.co/AiuojSkCeB

What a tackle!! Perfect in every sense. Ridiculous booking but Suarez’ theatrics don’t help!

Did Fabinho deserve a yellow card for his tackle on Suarez?
Yes
No
This match saw Jurgen Klopp’s side overcome a 3-0 first-leg deficit against the Spanish giants to make it through to the Champions League final (per BBC Sport). Now that this footage of Fabinho’s tackle on Suarez has been doing the rounds on Twitter, this gave lots of Liverpool fans the opportunity to share their thoughts on the incident.
Still makes me angry that he got a yellow for that! What was the ref thinking?

What do we think?
Given that Fabinho hit the ball first before touching Suarez, it does seem quite harsh that he was brandished a yellow card by the referee for his tackle.
