A group of Leeds United supporters have been reacting to a video of Marcelo Bielsa which was shared on Twitter by @Millar_Colin. The 64-year-old was talking about the value of the fans and that they cannot be replaced, he also described them as “the people who don’t ask for anything in return, only emotions“.
Bielsa’s Whites currently sit at the top of the Championship, seven points clear of Fulham in third place and were closing in on automatic promotion to the Premier League when the season was brought to an abrupt halt by the current viral outbreak.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the post involving their boss.
I want 1-a- day. Daily briefing from the boss

I love this man. The 1st line ending “what football has become” says it all. He clearly hates what it is now and thinks only of the supporters who without football is nothing.

He’s a football legend, Ive criticised his stubbornness, but this makes him and there’s nothing to dislike about the man. It’s going to be a sad day when he leaves the club.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses, this video has gone down well with Bielsa’s fans. The former Argentina boss arrived at Elland Road in July 2018 and so far, has averaged 1.79 points per match (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Judging by the comments from these supporters he has already earned a place in the hearts of the Leeds faithful and so if he were to secure promotion, he’d almost certainly be regarded as a club legend.
