Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news surrounding Reds defender Dejan Lovren.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a print article by La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness.
The article claims that AS Roma are hoping that their good relationship with Liverpool (having sold them Alisson and Mohamed Salah in the recent past) would help them get Lovren at a discount price.
The Italian side is said to want to pay €5m (£4.4m) for his services, considering he is entering the final year of his contract.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans, who were quick to have their say on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Would you accept £5 million for Lovren this summer?
Yes, just let him leave
No, he's worth more than that
The Croatian defender is currently valued at £14.4 million according to Transfermarkt, after spending almost six years at the Merseyside club. Now that it has been reported that Roma are hoping their good relationship with Liverpool will help complete Lovren’s move to the Italian side, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter.
Sell him Edwards … I think a EPL club will pay 10m for him
