Is Virgil van Dijk the best defender in the world right now?
Yes
No
Given how Van Dijk has scored four goals in 29 Premier League appearances for the Reds so far this season whilst playing in the centre-half position, it comes as no surprise to these Liverpool fans that the Dutchman has been showing off his goalscoring skills in this recent training session.
As this footage started to make the rounds on Twitter, it quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Liverpool fans who were not shy in airing their delight at this latest bit of footage.

What do we think?
It’s a great bit of skill from Van Dijk to get the ball into the net from that angle. The reaction to this post from this group of Liverpool fans just goes to show how much they are impressed with the defender’s skill.
