Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed news regarding player contracts which are set to expire on 30th June.
According to a Premier League statement issued on Thursday, players’ contracts that are set to expire on 30th June can be extended in order for them to finish the current season.
This means that Everton players such as Oumar Niasse, Leighton Baines, Cuco Martina and Maarten Stekelenburg could have their contracts extended in order to finish Everton’s 2019/20 campaign.
In reaction to the news, which was relayed on Twitter by The Toffee Blues, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that the club does not need to extend Niasse’s contract.
Will you be glad to see the back of Oumar Niasse?

What do we think?
It is rather understandable that many of the Everton fans would apparently like to see the back of Niasse, who they seem to have targeted in their comments, as soon as possible.
The 30-year-old, who signed for the club for a fee of £16.11 million back in 2016, has made just three Premier League appearances so far this season, in which he has neither scored nor assisted (per Transfermarkt).
