Would you be happy if the Toffees signed James Rodriguez on a four-year contract?Yes, would be a good moveNo, that would be naive |
According to the report from Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal, Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also potential suitors for the Real Madrid middleman.
However, ‘Ancelotti is in love with the Colombian’ and keen to bring him to Goodison Park (per Mundo Deportivo). Some supporters were unsure on the move, though.
Not sure he’s ever find much in his career for me to be getting excited. I follow RM and he’s had about 6 good games. He lives off that WC goal.

He’s a good player true.
But it would be madness to offer a injury prone near 29 year old who’s never played in the PL a 4 year deal.
Can’t see the club going with that unless they’ve completely not learned from previous mistakes.— Andreas Wätt (@Wattawildworld) April 30, 2020
Can’t see this turning out well. A season to get used to Premier league football, then he’s 30.can see this being regrettably expensive, and underwhelming in the end

After the last couple of seasons, it’s hard to get excited about transfers until they’re performing for us week in week out.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from Everton supporters, there is a divide between some thinking that the signing is a great idea and others not being convinced.
However, a 6.87/10 average rating over seven La Liga appearances so far this season (per WhoScored) would certainly suggest that the 28-year-old does still have talent.
