Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a report from Athletic journalist Greg O’Keeffe which discussed the Toffees’ summer off the pitch.
In the report, the journalist discussed how the current viral outbreak will affect Everton’s plans for a new shirt sponsor, a new kit manufacturer and the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium plans (via @GregOK), which had fans talking.
I mean youd expect plans to be in place before the summer
we wouldve been meant to be unveiling new kits in may or june so we’dve had it all sorted before then— ? (@H_OwensRA7) April 30, 2020
As a blue we hope because of the situation at the moment it doesnt get derailed. After all we will all be looking for positives after this depressing time.

Do you mind that the Toffees may be replacing Umbro as the club's kit manufacturer?Yes, I like UmbroNo, not too fussed |
According to the report, the Toffees have a ‘more lucrative deal’ in the pipeline with a kit manufacturer and that the club is ‘confident’ of securing a new shirt sponsor after ending their deal with SportPesa early.
O’Keeffe also reported that ‘”momentum” is being maintained’ with the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium plans, which supporters of the Toffees continued reacting to when shared to Twitter.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from Everton supporters, some seemed to be calmed by the report from The Athletic on the commercial side of the club, although others would like to know more.
Seemingly, there is every reason to be positive for supporters, though, with a ‘more lucrative’ deal with a kit manufacturer in the works, the club ‘confident’ of a new shirt sponsor and things still moving along with the new stadium plans (per The Athletic).
