Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which shows footage of Everton assistant manager Davide Ancelotti.
In the footage, which was posted by the official Everton Twitter account, Ancelotti discusses a conversation had between himself and Everton chairman Bill Kenwright during the assistant manager’s first visit to Goodison Park – revealing the Italian’s love for the club.
He stated: “The first time we came to Goodison, Bill Kenwright told me, ‘You will see this is the warmest, kindest and best club in the world’… I didn’t have the chance to tell him – but I wanted to tell him he was right.”
In reaction to the footage, fans of the club flocked to Twitter to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that Ancelotti’s comments show his class, while others have claimed that the younger Ancelotti has to what it takes to become Everton’s manager one day.

What do we think?
It would appear from their comments that much of the Everton fanbase has taken very kindly to both Carlo and Davide Ancelotti, and after 11 Premier League games with the two in charge of the club – with five wins, three draws and three losses – it is not difficult to see why.
