Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a report which has emerged on the Toffees’ on-loan Frenchman Djibril Sidibe.
According to L’Equipe, as cited by Sport Witness, AS Monaco are ‘ready to lower’ the agreed fee to make the right-back’s loan stay in Merseyside permanent to ensure the sale happens (via @EvertonNewsFeed). This left many Everton fans talking.
?Monaco have cut their asking price for Djibril Sidibe. There is a €14M option to buy Sidibe this summer which Monaco will now lower to try and ensure a move

Look somewhere else for a RB and Coleman can be our solid backup

No chance! Send him back and sell JJK for as much as we can get, then buy a first choice RB this summer and keep Coleman to provide competition.

The 27-year-old French defender arrived at Goodison Park last summer on loan with the option for the transfer to become permanent (per BBC).
A supposed fee of around £12.7 million to make the signing permanent was touted by the Liverpool Echo. However, fans continued airing their disapproval after it was reported that the Ligue 1 club will drop their asking price.
Wouldn’t take him on a free, hes obviously not the same player as a few years ago after watching him this year

Should Everton be looking to make Djibril Sidibe's loan stay a permanent one?Yes, would be a great ideaNo, he's not good enough |
During his season on loan at Goodison Park, the right-back has been the third-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League with a respectable 7.01/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
Despite his strong rating, though, fans were still not keen on the touted signing.
Not good enough

I’d pay €14m to ensure we didn’t get him permanently

As can be seen in these responses from Everton supporters, many are not keen on the idea of signing the French defender from AS Monaco permanently for any price.
