Supporters of Everton have been discussing a transfer link which has emerged between the Toffees and Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.
According to 90min, Carlo Ancelotti’s outfit are one of a number of clubs that are keen on signing the Norwegian central defender (via @ToffeeTVEFC), which had fans discussing if they would be happy with his signing.
Would you take the 6ft6 centre-back at Everton? #efc pic.twitter.com/oUzuubFNXW

Thought we should’ve signed him last season and he’s the type of player we should be aiming for.
I think he’s decent on the ball too; fairly sure he’s played a few games in midfield for Celtic, bit like Holgate has.

Think I would prefer Gabriel or Todibo. Koulibaye may have ambitions beyond our current status but you never know with The Don. Would say no to Ajer, EPL would expose him for pace.

Another Michael Keane…NO!!!

Would you be happy if the Toffees secured the services of Celtic's Kristoffer Ajer?Yes, would be a top signingNo, he's not good enough |
According to the report, Manchester City, Wolves and Leicester City form a Premier League contingent with interest in Ajer alongside the Toffees.
However, there is also interest from further afield, as AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly keen on Ajer.
With the news shared to Everton fans on Twitter, though, the transfer link continued to divide opinion amongst the Goodison Park faithful.
None of the players mentioned will sign for us, this is getting embarrassing

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from Everton supporters, the link with the 22-year-old Norwegian has clearly divided opinion as some are keen on the defender and others are not.
However, a 6.77/10 average rating for Celtic in the Europa League this season (per WhoScored) may suggest that Ajer is a capable player.
