Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of their club’s interest in Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi.
According to reports in Belgium-based publication Het Nieuwsblad, Palace are keen to bring Batshuayi back to Selhurst Park this summer, however, they will face competition from West Ham.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that they would not like to see their club sign the 26-year-old, while others have stated their belief that West Ham will beat them to the signing.

Should let this one slide now but if we do want him for once I wouldn’t feel any threat off of West Ham

One fan even stated that they believe he’s off to West Ham, which may relate to the fact that the Hammers managed to secure the services of Jarrod Bowen ahead of Palace back in January.

What do we think?
The Belgian striker previously spent a spell on loan at Selhurst Park back in 2019, in which he played 13 games for the club, scoring six goals.
With a record of just under a goal every two games in his time at Palace, it is slightly surprising to see that so few fans seem eager for the £15.75 million-rated Batshuayi to make a return to their club.
