Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest post from winger Anwar El Ghazi.
This comes after the Dutchman shared a post on his official page thanking his followers for all the birthday messages he received to celebrate his 25th birthday.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to send their own messages to the winger.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

Has El Ghazi reached his full potential yet?
Yes
No, he has more to give
The winger signed to the Birmingham club on a permanent basis back in the 2019 summer transfer window after spending the previous year on loan from LOSC Lille (per Transfermarkt). Since then, El Ghazi has gone on to make 68 appearances for Villa in which he has managed to score 13 goals and provide 13 assists (per Transfermarkt). One of those goals included Villa’s opening goal in their 2-1 win over Derby County in the Championship Play-Off final at Wembley last season. Now that El Ghazi has expressed his thanks for all the birthday messages he received, this opened the door for lots of Villa fans to share their own messages to the winger.
Happy birthday pal, I’ve been watching back the playoff final today, goal and assist ???? such a good day, all the best
