Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Villa midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
This comes after Villa-focused Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page that contained two screenshotted images of two answers the 30-year-old gave during a recent Q&A on his official Instagram story.
One supporter asked him if he thinks Villa will stay up and avoid relegation this season, to which the Englishman replied that he hopes they do.
Drinkwater also added that there are some “changes needed” at the club and that he hopes Villa can be in the Premier League for “many years to come.”
Another question asked him who the funniest player at the club is currently to which he named defender Neil Taylor as being “comedy”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on Drinkwater’s answers.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

Yes changes needed… get rid of Suso. Let the manager buy his own players.

What do we think?
It seems that the majority of these Villa fans aren’t happy with Drinkwater despite him sharing his wishes for Villa to avoid relegation this season and to remain in the Premier League for the foreseeable future.
Given that Drinkwater has managed to pick up a measly season rating of 5.74/10 during his four Premier League appearances for Villa, it’s fairly understandable why these supporters may not be huge fans of the Englishman.
