Some West Brom fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Baggies-focused Twitter account @WestBromNews, which has shared a link to a recent report from BirminghamLive that suggests Spanish side Deportivo Alavés are interested in signing Oliver Burke “on a permanent deal”.
These recent reports regarding Alavés’ alleged interest in signing Burke on a permanent deal originally surfaced from Spanish publication AS, which has claimed that of the six players currently on loan at Alavés, Burke is one of two that the La Liga side are allegedly interested in keeping at the club.
Read the reactions of some West Brom fans to these recent reports about Burke’s future in the tweets below.

Good deal for everyone I’d say. Shame it didn’t work out

It’s categorically not a good deal for WBA, it’s the best of many bad options we have to choose from caused by Mr Burke’s attitude and application.

Would you like to see Oliver Burke leave West Brom permanently this summer?YES, A MOVE AWAY FROM WEST BROM WILL SUIT HIM AND THE CLUBNO, BURKE CAN STILL COME GOOD FOR WEST BROM |

What do we think?
Since signing for the Baggies in August 2017 for a transfer fee of £13.68m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Burke has made just 24 appearances in all competitions for West Brom, with the attacker scoring just one goal and providing just three assists in all competitions.
The Scotland international joined Alavés on loan for the 2019/20 season back in August. He has made 22 appearances for Alavés in all competitions thus far, featuring in 21 of their 27 league games this term.
It may be fair to say that Burke has struggled to justify his £13.68m price-tag at West Brom since arriving at The Hawthorns.
BirminghamLive reported that Burke allegedly “hopes he can do enough to earn a longer stay where he currently finds himself” back in February. Therefore, should the recent reports of Alavés’ interest in signing Burke permanently prove true, it may be fair to say that this could be a transfer that suits all parties involved.
