English football was postponed as a result of the current viral outbreak, following a statement that was shared via the EFL’s official website on 13 March. The BBC later reported that “the professional game in England” is not set to recommence “until at least 30 April”.

As a result of English football’s postponement, some Baggies supporters may miss seeing their side in action on the football pitch at present. With that in mind, a message such as this one which was recently shared via the club’s Twitter account may play an important role in effectively keeping the team and their fans connected at this time. Therefore, it may be understandable why some Baggies fans have been reacting positively to this message.
