These Sheffield Wednesday fans have been discussing on Twitter whether or not Garry Monk is the right man to take the team forward in response to Dom Howson’s Twitter post, which posed the all-important question to Owls supporters.
Monk’s side currently find themselves in 15th position in the Championship and plenty of questions have been asked of his management in recent months.
Monk took the reins at Hillsborough back in September 2019 and currently averages 1.29 points per match, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk. So how do the fans feel about the 41-year-old and his suitability to the task at hand?
Not a chance

What do we think?
It’s clear that Monk no longer has the support of these fans to turn things around. In the recent Q&A session conducted by Howson, he highlights the fact he believes many of the senior players have let him down this season, suggesting he was correct to question the character of the group.
As also pointed out by the reporter, Sheffield Wednesday have shown at times this season during games against Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Leeds that they are capable of producing impressive performances, which arguably makes Monk’s tenure all the more frustrating.
