Some Rangers fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the club’s official Twitter account which has shared a link to a statement that was recently released via the Gers’ official website

This statement concerns the SPFL’s resolution ending the 2019/20 season in Scotland’s second, third, and fourth tiers. The SPFL announced that this resolution was approved “with agreement by 81% of all members” in a statement that was shared via their official website on 15 March

Rangers have since responded negatively to this announcement. In their latest statement, Rangers have slated the SPFL’s resolution, declaring that “no fair-minded person can take the outcome of this vote seriously”. The club go on to criticise the governing body for not affording “sufficient consideration” to an alternative resolution that the Gers themselves had previously proposed, before calling for the SPFL’s decision to be subjected to “forensic examination”.

Some Rangers fans have been responding in agreement with their club’s recent statement on Twitter. Read the positive reactions of some Gers supporters to this statement in the tweets below.

When was Rangers Football Club incepted?

Is the SPFL's resolution unfair, in your view?

YES, IT IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR

NO, IT'S REALLY NOT THAT UNFAIR

What do we think?

It may be understandable why Rangers and some of their fans may feel aggrieved that the alternative resolution they had proposed was rejected by the SPFL for being “ineffective”, as reported by the BBC. With that in mind, it may come as no surprise that Gers fans have responded negatively to the SPFL’s resolution officially receiving approval.
