Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which a Gers fan account posted a picture of one of Rangers’ old third kits.
The picture, which was uploaded by Heart & Hand on Twitter, shows a Rangers third shirt from the 1994/95 season, with the comment: “Today’s #stripschallenge – a lilac beauty that I can only remember us wearing once…and we lost! Looked great with jeans though”.
In reaction to the post, fans of Rangers have flocked to have their say on the kit, with many suggesting that it is their favourite football kit ever, while others have claimed that the strip reminds them of Brian Laudrup. However, there were some who still despise this particular strip.
Is the 94/95 third kit your favourite Rangers shirt ever?
For sure
No way

What do we think?
While many of the Rangers fans claimed that the lilac strip reminds them of their former player, Brian Laudrup – which is as good a reason as any to like a shirt – in our opinion, the top is also an absolute beauty in its own right.
One of the fans also points out the 1994/95 shirt is worth a quite a lot of money today, and they are not wrong, as Classic Football Shirts had this particular top – albeit a “match issue” shirt – listed for £299.99. A pretty penny indeed.
