A group of Charlton fans have been discussing Tahnoon Nimer’s recent interview on TalkSPORT, in which he discusses the current situation at the club and the ongoing EFL investigation.
An ugly battle between the club’s majority shareholder and former chairman Matt Southall, who was removed from the board of directors last month, continues to rumble on after both men appeared on the radio station earlier this week to present their sides of the argument.
These fans have been responding to Nimer’s comments after a soundbite of the interview was shared on Twitter.
Been going on too long. Too many empty promises here

Do you buy what Tahnoon Nimer has had to say?
Yes
No
Its been 4 months, there is no money unfortunately ? Investment is always just around the corner. Duchatelet is trying to get away with a BHS Phillip Green dodgy offload of his debt. He should not be able to get away with it #cafc

So why haven’t they paid anything ?!?

What do we think?
It appears that these Charlton Athletic fans aren’t buying what Nimer has had to say, with many struggling to understand what is really going on behind the scenes. Nimer insisted that he has provided the EFL with everything they have requested and accused others of trying to “destroy” the relationship between him and the Addicks faithful (as per TalkSPORT).
In our view, whatever happens next, the distrust in his intentions is already there and it’s going to take a lot to restore the fans’ faith in the new ownership.
