Charlton Athletic supporters have grown frustrated by the club’s current hierarchy – so much so, that some have been discussing the prospect of Simon Jordan taking the reins at the Valley.
The former Crystal Palace chief has been very vocal about the situation over in south-east London and questioned Matt Southall live on TalkSPORT earlier this week. Jordan put some difficult questions to the removed chairman and it’s sparked much debate amongst the fans with regards to whether or not he could be the man to rescue the club from its current troubles.
Supporter @LeeTaylor93X made their feelings known regarding the 52-year-old on Twitter, and these Charlton fans have flocked to the tweet to respond, with some agreeing with the negative take on Jordan.
Some have short memories. Embarrassing

However, these fans believe Jordan’s previous experiences of running a football club at least make him the right person to be questioning both Southall and Tahnoon Nimer.
The wonders of being able to reflect on things that haven’t worked in the past makes him qualified to do so

I am a Charlton fan and have been all my life. Years ago Simon Jordan was a rival we hated but I’ve been listening to talk sport for years since Roland and now this mess he talk non stop sense even not on the subject of Charlton I have failed to disagree with the man.

Would you ever welcome Simon Jordan to Charlton Athletic?
Yes
No
Whereas, some simply want to see both Southall and Nimer ‘clear off’.
@MattSouthall84 is a complete fraud, can’t answer questions because he hasn’t a clue what’s going on. His childish argument with tahnoon Nimer shows his incompetence to run anything let alone a famous and much loved football club. They should both clear off ASAP #cafc

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, nobody is quite suggesting they would like to see Simon Jordan invest in the club but despite the history, some can’t help but admire the way he is asking the difficult questions and the way his mistakes have given him an insight into what might be going on behind the scenes at The Valley.
