Overrated and that was quickly proved at spurs.

Was Wanyama 'greedy' to leave Celtic for Southampton?
Yes, he followed the money
I don't think so
To me he has never fullfilled his potential

Good player but followed the money and was found out

Just shows not every move for big money is the right one. Will retire in the next 2/3 years a wealthy man that could have achieved so much more.

Overrated, likes playing in the big games, doesn’t turn up for the bread and butter games, who knows maybe his attitude has changed but there’s still the injury problems.???

Wanyama was at Parkhead for two years, joining the club from Beerschot before leaving for Southampton in the Premier League in 2013 (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
He had been a regular at Tottenham in the 2016/17 season, as he made 47 appearances in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
However, Wanyama suffered from injuries the following season and (rather ironically) missed 47 games due to injury (via Transfermarkt). This shows that if not for fitness problems, he could have been in a much different position than he currently is. And in that sense, it may be unfair to label the midfielder as overrated.
