Some Celtic fans have been discussing the latest Twitter post that Virgil van Dijk recently sent out.
Van Dijk was recently holding a Twitter Q&A session with some of his fans. A Celtic fan asked him a question about who is the best player that the Dutchman played with during his time at Parkhead.
Van Dijk responded to this by giving a ‘special mention’ to former midfielder Stefan Johansen. After reading this, many Celtic fans shared their reactions to the Liverpool man’s revelation.

Was Van Dijk right to pick Johansen?

Van Dijk was at Celtic from summer 2013 until his move to Southampton in 2015. As for Johansen, he had a stint at Parkhead from January 2014 and stayed there until summer 2016, when he joined Fulham.
What do we think?
In the 2014/15 season, Johansen had been crowned Celtic’s Player of the Season. He had also earlier been named as a joint winner of the Players’ Player of the Season alongside Scott Brown. This shows what an impact he had at Parkhead and justifies Van Dijk’s decision to choose him over any other player.
