Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that Chris Sutton sent out about Henrik Larsson.
A football-related page called FootyAccumulators recently asked fans if Larsson is the greatest player to ever play in the Scottish Premiership. Sutton retweeted this post and it carried the caption ‘no argument’.
On seeing this post, many Celtic fans were left raving. They agree with Sutton that Larsson indeed is the greatest ever to grace the Premiership and one fan hailed Sutton himself as the best.

What he done after leaving Celtic just seals the deal. A truly magnificent player.

Yup. No need to discuss it. Just a head nod required.

Larsson was at Celtic from the summer of 1997 till the summer of 2004 (per Transfermarkt). The Swede had joined the club from Feyenoord and had left Celtic for Barcelona in the summer of 2004. He went onto have a brief spell with Manchester United (per Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
During his seven-year-long spell at Celtic, Larsson had scored 242 goals in 315 appearances (per Celtic.net) and it shows how important a player he was at the club. He also won four Scottish Premiership titles and finished as the league’s highest scorer on five occasions (per Transfermarkt). Keeping that in mind, one can see why Sutton hailed Larsson and why Celtic fans love him.
